Attack of Mutants: Krishna Series Book 1

Attack of Mutants
Krishna Series Book #1
In this book, Krishna's childhood myths are retold in brand new style sprinkled with sci-fi and fantasy elements yet keeping the stories rooted to texts (Harivamsa and Vishnu Purana), thus creating a new mythology for Krishna's childhood that is relevant in today's context.

Who was behind these attacks? What did his parents feel when he was being constantly attacked? And how these tales are resonant in present world: what would a kid do if he or she faces such inner or outer demons like? Can he or she affords to be brave like Krishna?

It's a collection of mythological and religious poems where I have re-interpreted the characters or events from Ramayana, Mahabharata, Purana, religious books and religious clippings from the newspapers . The poems of this collection have popular mythological characters like Krishna, Arjuna, Bhisma, Rama, Sita, Dropadi, Kunti or marginalized characters from like Karna, Vidura, Shatrughana, Dadhichi, Sambhuka, Dashratha, all telling their stories anew or asking the questions which have not been raised before. I have this feeling that history repeats itself and if don't learn from it, we are bound to repeat it forever.
